Hwy 106, The Hanson Lake Road is a 325 km paved all-season highway that connects Flin Flon and Creighton to Smeaton on Hwy 55. There are few places to get fuel on the highway. There are several resorts that may supply some fuel. 257 km from Creighton there is a junction that will take you on a well maintained gravel road to Candle Lake and eventually to Hwy 55 at Meath Park or continue on Hwy 106 to Smeaton. Numerous lakes along the highway provide excellent fishing opportunities.
